How We Disappear: A Personal History of Information by Thomas S. Mullaney – This one is thought-provoking to say the least. It’s odd that he never mentions genealogists (in the company of historians, archaeologists, etc.) in spite of the fact that there’s a conspicuous genealogical element to the book, but it will still get you pondering!
