Grant to address preservation measures to cope with humidity in the manuscript room and to protect a rare 1878 map showing family names and landholdings.

The grant will be used to have the 1953 Centennial edition of the Du Quoin Evening Call reprinted to celebrate the town's 100th anniversary.
