It was 1999-2000 and I was positively giddy. I couldn’t believe that I was getting to make a living doing what I loved and so much good fortune had come my way so swiftly. I decided to find a way to give back and that’s what prompted me to launch a genealogy grants program.
I’m happy to announce that the 222nd (and final!) grant has been awarded to Rosie Rowley. Grant funds will be used to buy a portable scanner with a document feeder to assist with the creation of a digital index of local newspapers on cards.
