Greetings Fellow Family History Sleuths,
Well, lucky me! I got to meet Billie Jean King, one of my longtime idols, at Ellis Island last month! In this issue, you can read about her, an authentic Ellis Island ferry for sale, some peculiar graves, DNA news, and a couple of WWII and Korean War heroes soldiers finally coming home. You'll also find a reminder about In Search of Our Ancestors, my book of 101 tales of serendipity and kindness, because the holiday season is the perfect time for a little reading escape.
Happy Thanksgiving (and be sure to quiz your relatives about your ancestors and get them to dig out those old photos!)
In Search Of Our Ancestors
Reminding everyone that a .pdf version of my latest book – a feel-good collection of 101 tales of genealogical kindness and serendipity – is available from the good folks at Legacy Family Tree.
And if you prefer, it's also available in ebook format for your Kindle, Nook, etc. here.
