1. Wrote a message in paint before tiling a wall.

2. Wrote date and names near a door jam before the framing was installed.

3. Left a plant I couldn’t take cross country and a note to the new owners that the house was a happy place for us and we know how it will be for them.

4. Wrote on the wall out initials in a heart before the new kitchen cabinets were installed. We didn’t move for years, but I’d often look at the cabinet and remember the secret message. 😊
